Saving Smart: Hubbell Wiring Occupancy Sensor

For many years, occupancy sensors have been highlighted as a way to reduce energy consumption. The California Department of Energy has stated that lighting accounts for 35-45% of an office building's energy use. Occupancy sensors can potentially reduce lighting use by 13-90%. Hubbell has developed a tool, the H-MOSS® ROI Worksheet, to help calculate present annual energy costs without sensors and estimated annual costs with sensors. As energy costs continue to climb, standards and codes become more stringent, and the “greening” of commercial and residential buildings increases across the country, you should look toward Hubbell Occupancy Sensors to help decrease your energy costs. Find out more about how Hubbell H-Moss Occupancy sensors can start saving your company money.

Southwire has developed a revolutionary simpullcombination of products and services it's calling SIMpull Solutions. Field tests have shown a significant reduction in installation time when contractors combine all or even some of the components found in the new SIMpull Solutions.

SIMpull Solutions combines: Southwire's patented NoLube® SIMpull THHN® cable technology, with either copper or aluminum color conductors. Southwire's new, revolutionary SIMpull Head" pulling device, a patent pending pulling head that is factory installed and is delivered attached to the cable. A new SIMpull TruckSM cable delivery system is available to deliver multiple reels, to allow cable to be pulled without unloading. Single parallel reels, cut-to-length multiple color conductors all on one reel. There's only one reel to set up instead of the usual four to five. Color Conductors make it easy to identify phases, requiring fewer steps and providing a safer installation.
