The food and beverage industries have many challenges when dealing with high-pressure, close-range, caustic wash-down cleaning practices. Avoid contaminates and maintenance issues with Allen Bradley’s Bulletin 800k Piezoelectric Push Buttons.
The Allen Bradley 800K Piezoelectric Push Buttons are IP69K rated, made of 316 stainless steel, have no moving parts and is fully-potted, preventing fluids from corroding operator components while providing an additional barrier of protection, making it ideal for food, beverage, and similar applications.
The 800K body has a smooth and crevice-free design which minimizes areas on the push button where contaminates can get lodged. By using a piezoelectric design, moving parts and crevices are eliminated from the button, which are potential sources of failure.
The stainless-steel construction makes this button ideal for heavy wash down locations. Additionally, the piezoelectric circuit allows for the button to detect pressure with no actual moving parts. The 800K uses momentary contacts which use red illuminated buttons and have a single N.C. circuit. All the other models have a single N.O. circuit. The momentary contacts can be directly connected to a programmable controller or with an appropriate interposing relay.
