With recent announcements from the Governors’ offices in PA, NJ, and DE, we want to assure you that Rumsey is still available for your lighting, switchgear, electrical, datacom, and power transmission needs as an electrical wholesale supplier.
We continue to operate a functional warehouse and are shipping orders and making deliveries while maintaining stringent CDC precautions. We also offer pick-up at our Conshohocken headquarters and counter locations throughout the tri-state area.
Our sales and support staff are still available electronically via our website chat, email, fax, or by phone to take orders.
Once an order is placed, we’ll give you instructions for pick-up or shipping/delivery, based on your needs. Many of our remote storefronts are also available for emergency pick-ups and we ask that you call ahead to confirm products are available and ready when you arrive.
Additionally, Rumsey will offer online sources like Rockwell Automation online learning, online safety training, and live webinars to our customers during this time.

As information about the Coronavirus expands through worldwide news channels, Rumsey is closely tracking how this pandemic will affect the economy and the supply chain for our customers. We recognize that you, like us, have businesses that need to continue operating – businesses that rely on the products we supply you as well as the sales and technical support you have come to depend on.
For that reason, we have taken steps to minimize impact on our operations and will make every effort to continue to provide the support, supplies and deliveries you need to run your businesses. You can continue to depend on Rumsey as we move through this threat.
At this time, I’m pleased to report that very few of our key suppliers have reported any significant supply shortfall. Anticipating that there still may be some unforeseen supply chain issues, we are also taking steps to review and, where needed, adjust our inventory to keep your projects on track.
We recognize that this is a fluid situation and for that reason, we will continue to monitor CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) reporting for guidelines and recommendations. See best practices from the CDC.
Should the CDC update risk areas or change recommended mitigation strategies, we will respond accordingly. Rest assured that our highest priority is the safety of our customers and employees.
