Locked-in Series: Industrial Control – Component Migration – What is Nearing End of Life? 5/12 WEBINAR

May 12, 2020 @ 11:30 am - 12:30 pm

Do you want to make the most out of your planned downtime? Understanding your components product lifecycle will help you plan and make the most of your shutdowns.

In this session we will cover:

  • Components that were recently discontinued or will be discontinued in the near future;
  • The appropriate replacement for the discontinued component;
  • The features of the new product that can help increase efficiency.

As technology moves forward so do the Allen Bradley components. Many of the new components are embedded with “smart” chips that give you data to increase productivity. Attending this session will not only help you plan ahead but also show the benefits of migrating to the new products and getting them into the connected enterprise.

Taught by: Joe LoMonaco, Industrial Controls Specialist at Rumsey Electric. Joe is TUV Functional Safety Technician Certified and has spent 10+ years in the industrial machine safety industry.  This includes 5 years as an electrician and 5+ years supporting Allen-Bradley Control, Sensor, and Safety Applications.  He holds an Associate Degree in Electrical Construction.
